Math Lab is a place‚ rich in manipulative materials to which children have ready access to handle them‚ perform mathematical experiments‚ play mathematical games‚ solve mathematical puzzles and become involved in other activities related to mathematics. Math lab will be activity centered where children will be placed in a problem-solving situation; through self–exploration‚ they will discover mathematical principles‚ patterns and process all by themselves. Besides‚ they will also provide solutions based on their own experience‚ needs and interests. Physical involvement adds new ideas to their cognitive structure; will make them to think‚ look for patterns and ask questions. Every child will experience the joy of discovery.
